Preventative Maintenance Contracts

AvidTek, Inc. offers a comprehensive preventative maintenance service. Our PM contract is designed to meet and exceed the original equipment manufacturers recommended annual service tasks. Some OEM recommended tasks are beyond the technical ability of the machines operators and, as a consequence, are not completed. By not performing these recommended tasks machines are at risk of failure. By contracting AvidTek to perform these tasks our customers reduce their risks of unexpected downtime and costly repairs.

Avidtek's PM contract is designed to prevent or detect machine failures before they occur. This allows our customers to repair and maintain their systems on their schedule, avoiding costly downtime and expensive rushed repairs.

All customers with a PM contract receive a
preferred service rate
for service required outside the scope of the PM contract.

In some cases the reduced rate for service outside of the PM contract saves the customer the cost of the contract and more.

An example of tasks performed during a PM visit:

Examine and replace (as needed) all laser and machine optics.
Examine and replace (as needed) all applicable oils (Vacuum, turbine, &c)
Examine chiller unit and replace (as needed) water and filters.
Inspect incoming air supply for contaminants or an excess of oils or moisture.
Examine laser mode structure and modify if needed.
Complete optical alignment.
Laser power output examined and verified. (Compare actual power output to reported values)
Remove from electrical cabinets dust and debris. Visually inspect electrical components for damage or wear.
Inspect laser generator parameters for deviance from accepted values.
